Police: Vehicle hits pole, none injured

DORSET -- State Police said no one was injured when a 2007 Saab station wagon went off Nichols Hill Road and struck a utility pole. According to Vermont State Police Sgt. Brian Turner, on Saturday at 2:15 p.m. the vehicle, being driven by James Flynn, 46, of Downington, Pa., went off the road in slippery conditions. Flynn and his two passengers were all wearing seat belts and were not hurt, while the car was rendered inoperable from moderate front end damage.
