ARLINGTON -- Police arrested a local man they say was responsible for throwing a rock through the window of a local Stewart's Shop.
Authorities said they initially received two calls in the early morning hours Saturday, Dec. 22, in the town of Arlington. In the first call, police said they received a report of an intoxicated man at the door of the Stewart's Shop on Route 7. While police were en route, dispatchers received a second call alerting them the man had thrown a rock through the store window.
In a written release this weekend, state police said they could not initially locate the individual upon their arrival, although the man was later identified as Justin Holton, 21, of Arlington. On Friday, Dec. 28, Holton was arrested for unlawful mischief and trespassing and was released with a citation to appear in court at a later date to face those charges.
