UPDATE: Police seek man for bad check

POWNAL - State police are looking for a man they say is accused of passing a bad check at a local furniture store.

According to Vermont State Trooper Wayne Godfrey, on Oct. 26 James J. Radler, 50, of Barre, purchased an item at the Pownal View Barn on Route 7 using a bad check. Godfrey said he learned of the complaint on Nov. 5 and said Radler has not been located. Godfrey wrote that Radler has two warrants out for his arrest on similar allegations, one from Vermont the other from another state.

Anyone with information is asked to call Vermont State Police at 802-442-5421. Anonymous tips can also be submitted online to www.vtips.info or by texting the number 274637 (CRIMES) using the keyword VTIPS followed by the information.
