SEARSBURG -- Police are searching for a suspect who broke into a shed at a Searsburg camp and made off with a generator and gas lawn trimmer.

Police received the burglary complaint Wednesday from Joan Lovell, of Barrington, R.I., who said upon arriving at her camp on Somerset Road the shed had been broken into.

Police said a Honda generator taken from the shed is valued at $1,000.

A similar break-in at another camp in the area was reported earlier this week.

Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to call the Vermont State Police at 442-5421. Information can also be submitted anonymously online at www.vtips.info or text "CRIMES" (274637) to Keyword: VTIPS.
