SUNDERLAND -- State police said a man’s home on the Kelly Stand Road was broken into while he left it for a short time Wednesday morning.
Police said John Grover, 45, reported that he left his home at 6:50 a.m. and returned at 7:23 a.m. to find someone had forced their way in and taken cash and some household items. Police did not say how much money was taken or what sort of objects were missing.
