Make your own lip balm: Learn how to make lip balm from scratch. Each participant will get to bring home a tube and a tin of lip balm in a flavor they choose. Overfishing and sea vegetables class: Learn how to make sustainable choices when it comes to fish, and discover the pros and cons of aquaculture. Learn about the many health benefits of consuming sea vegetables, and taste some easy ways to incorporate them into your diet. Taught by Robin Matathias, who teaches environmental studies at Keene State College, on Saturday, March 12, 1 to 3 p.m, in the Co-op Community Room. Free. Pre-registration required.
Kids cooking class: Make the classic Greek dish "spanikopita," paired with a beet tzadziki, which is an herbed yogurt sauce featuring the Harvest of the Month: Beets. Wednesday, March 16, 3:30 to 5 p.m., at the Co-op Cooking Classroom. Free. Pre-registration required.
