RENSSELAERVILLE, N.Y. - Come laugh your
off at the comic play "Five Women Wearing the Same Dress" on October 12, 13 and 14.
Known for realistic, witty and audacious dialogue, the playwright is Alan Ball, creator, producer and writer of the Emmy Award-winning Home Box Office hits "True Blood" and "Six Feet Under." His screenplay for the film American Beauty won an Academy Award and a Golden Globe award. R’ville Stage Creations will host three performances of "Five Women Wearing the Same Dress."
R’ville Stage Creations is a new theatrical company founded by Tara McCormick-Hostash. The young troupe’s inaugural production last year was the classic comedy "Arsenic and Old Lace."
7 p.m. on Friday, October, 12; 7 p.m. on Saturday, October 13 or 3 p.m. Sunday, October 14. Tickets cost $10. They’re available at the door or in advance by calling Linda McCormick at 518-797-5142.
The venue is historic Conkling Hall at 8 Methodist Hill Road, Rensselaerville, NY. Rensselaerville is located in southwestern Albany County.
