BENNINGTON -- The historic Old First Church in Old Bennington invites the community to participate in celebrating the 250th anniversary at a benefit Gala at the Bennington Museum. This fundraising event will help support the church’s steeple restoration fund. The Gala will take place on Saturday, October 20, beginning at 5:30 p.m. This semi-formal event will include musical performances, "historic period" food, cash bar, silent auction, live auction, and a historical presentation. The Museum will have its exhibits open for viewing during the Gala.
Tickets are $75 each or $125 for 2 and may be purchased at the church office, 1 Monument Circle, Old Bennington, (802) 447-1223, or at the Bennington Museum door the night of gala. The Museum is located at 75 Main Street, Bennington.
