HOOSICK FALLS, N.Y. — On Saturday, April 16, Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (PDA) will present a free workshop to assist those already working hard to develop a long-term plan to help the Hoosick Falls area recover from the issues of contaminated water. The workshop will be held at 1:30 p.m. at the Hoosick Falls Central School and will be open to the public.
Following up on the February 28 meeting with local officials, this time PDA will work with local leaders and community members to develop a long-term recovery group and also provide some resilience training and support, particularly to those in leadership positions.
Presbyterian Disaster Assistance has an extensive list of resources and the knowledge and training to point those affected in the direction of recovery.
Attend this workshop "to learn how to burn brightly and never burn out."
