School is out! Are you looking for some close-to-home fun for your family? The Vermont Recreation and Parks Association (VRPA) is pleased to announce its partnership with 38 Vermont communities to offer Deeply Discounted Amusement Park Tickets to the Bromley Mountain Adventure Park in Manchester, Vt.; Great Escape/Splashwater Kingdom in Lake George, N.Y.; and "Six Flags New England" in Agawam Mass.
How would you like to save up to 40 percent off the gate price at these parks and walk right past the line to buy tickets when you arrive? The VRPA discounted prices are: $28 ($45 at the gate) for Bromley, $35 ($54.99 at the gate) for the Great Escape, and $38 ($59.99 at the gate) for Six Flags New England. Tickets are good any day for the duration of the 2014 season.
Before heading to one of the parks, stop by the Parks and Recreation Department in Barre, Bennington, Brattleboro, Bristol, Burlington, Charlotte, Colchester, Essex Junction, Essex Town, Fairfax, Hartford, Hartland, Hinesburg, Killington, Manchester, Milton, Montpelier, Newport, Pittsford, Quechee Club, Richmond, Rutland, St. Albans, Shelburne, South Burlington, Springfield, Stowe, Thetford, Williston, Windsor, or Woodstock, or at the Town Clerk's office in Derby, Grand Isle, Morrisville, Orange, West Rutland, or Westford. Tickets can be purchased during normal business hours. Not every community sells tickets to all 3 parks. Go to the VRPA website at http://www.vrpa.org to find the list of ticket outlets under the "programs" tab and call ahead to be sure you can get the tickets you want. If it is after hours and you want to buy your tickets at these same great prices, you can now buy Great Escape and Six Flags New England tickets online. For online tickets to the Great Escape, go to https://www.sixflags.com/greatescape and use "VTREC" for the promo code. For online tickets to Six Flags New England, go to http://www.sixflags.com/partnerlogin and use "VTParkandRec" for the username and "sixflags2" for the password.
By purchasing your tickets through the Vermont Recreation & Parks Association, you can save money and help out the state organization, which in turn benefits local parks and recreation departments throughout the state.
