An article that ran Dec. 4 conflated the roles government officials played in aiding a Mali native. Gov. Peter Shumlin and Sen. Bernie Sander, I-Vermont, were credited by "Brosky" with helping him sort through his work permit troubles, while Rep. Peter Welch, D-Vermont, was credited with listening to Brosky's concerns about Mali.

An article that ran in Monday's paper about a book on country stores had the incorrect spelling of the author's name and the wrong name for the publishing company. The author's name is spelled Dennis Bathory-Kitsz and the publishing company is The History Press.
