The wedding was held in the beautiful backyard of Mr. and Mrs. David Colton, close friends of the Hunt family. The vintage themed, backyard wedding was filled with many handmade items and small heart-felt details. The food was catered by The Swiss Farm Inn of Pittsfield. The cake, with a delicious and unique marshmallow frosting, as well as an entire sweets table was made by Jacob’s sister, Rebekah Hunt
The bridal party consisted of Jenna’s dearest friends Amber Gibbs and Tesla Shaw. The groomsmen consisted of Jonathon Colton, who was on leave from his service in the Air Force overseas and Matthew Durfee.
Walked down the aisle by her father, John Baker, the couple then exchanged their vows in the pouring rain, in front of their closest friends and family.
The reception occurred in a large white, tidal tent in the yard. Several family members sang and played instruments, making it a lively and warm experience. Of the several family members who performed, Jessica Pierpont, the bride’s closest college friend, sang beautifully, "A Thousand Years" by Christina Perri.
The couple spent a one week honeymoon in the Dominican Republic and returned to their home in Bennington, where they will reside.
