Corrections

Don Keelan’s Saturday column "Embezzlement: Has it become part of our culture?"contained an error. Bruce McAllister, former auditor of Dartmouth College, pleaded guilty to a charge that he transferred money to his own bank accounts from several nonprofit organizations where he served as treasurer. One of those organizations was Alpha Theta, a coeducational fraternity at Dartmouth. However, McAllister has never been charged with embezzling Dartmouth College.

BENNINGTON -- A Friday, April 19, article "Fire damage to delay center opening" contained an error. The Bennington Area Chamber of Commerce will not be moving to the new welcome center when it opens. The chamber staff will continue to work from their current office at 100 Veterans Memorial Drive, Bennington. "The chamber is not moving," said Executive Director Joann Erenhouse. "The chamber stays right where it is."
