BENNINGTON -- Bennington Senior Center activities will include ceramics from 9 to 11 a.m.; oil painting from 9 a.m. to noon; and bingo from 1 to 3 p.m. Transfer Week at CCV
BENNINGTON -- The Community College of Vermont will host a College Transfer Week from Friday, Oct. 12, through Thursday, Oct. 18. Representatives from 13 different colleges will be available to talk with interested students about degree programs and transfer opportunities. In general, college representatives will be available between 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. and 5 to 6:30 p.m. The schedule for specific colleges can be found at the Bennington center page, www.ccv.edu, or by calling the Academic Center at 802-447-2361. This event is free and open to the public.
White Chapel Society sale
BENNINGTON -- The White Chapel Society of White Chapel Church will hold its annual fall tag and food sale on Oct. 12 to 14.
Working Group meeting for Rensselaer County
TROY, N.Y. -- The United States Department of Agriculture, the Natural Resources Conservation Service, and the Rensselaer County Soil and Water Conservation District gives notice that there will be a Local Working Group meeting, open to the Public, for Rensselaer County on Oct. 12. The meeting will be held at the Cornell Cooperative Extension conference room, on the second floor of the Ag & Life Sciences Building, USDA Service Center, from 10 a.m. to noon. The purpose of the meeting is to provide input to NRCS on local and state natural resources priorities and criteria for Farm Bill programs.

Dissolution/Consolidation Study Public Sessions

Agenda: The public sessions for the Dissolution and/or Consolidation of Services Study for Hoosick Falls have been announced. The first session will be Oct. 10 at 6 p.m. at the to present the report prepared by the Center for Governmental Research to the community.
