BENNINGTON -- Larry and Sharon Stepp of Bennington, have announced the engagement of their first-born daughter, Leslie Stepp, to John Lamar, eldest son of Deborah Lamar and the late John Lamar of South Wales, N.Y.
Leslie’s grandparents are Thornton and the late Rema Stepp of Tallahassee, Fla., and the late Mary and Thomas Dyer of Bennington.
John’s grandparents are Betty and the late Joseph Rosined of Cheektowoga, N.Y., and the late William and Mary Lamar of Cheektowoga, N.Y.
Leslie graduated from Albany Medical College in 2010 with a master’s degree in nurse anesthesiology, and is currently working as a certified registered nurse anesthetist at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary in Boston.
John graduated from Albany Medical College in 2008 with a Ph.D. in Cancer Biology, and is working at the Koch Institute of Integrative Cancer Research at MIT in Cambridge, Mass.
A February 16, 2013, wedding is planned.
