At the Senior Center

BENNINGTON -- Bennington Senior Center activities will include ceramics from 9 to 11 a.m.; oil painting from 9 a.m. to noon; and bingo from 1 to 3 p.m. ‘A Taste of Italy’ benefit for BPI

BENNINGTON -- Bennington Project Independence, Adult Day Service, will be hosting "A Taste of Italy" evening of Wine and Beer Tasting from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Dr. Richard A. Sleeman Center at 614 Harwood Hill.

Event tickets are $35 a person. Parking will be available at the center or the Morse Block building on Harwood Hill with a BPI shuttle to and from the event. Proceeds from the event will assist Bennington Project Independence to provide compassionate and comprehensive Adult Day Services for older persons, younger adults facing the challenge of disability and support for their family caregivers throughout Bennington County.

Parkinson’s Support Group

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- The Northern Berkshire Parkinson’s Support Group meets at 10:30 a.m. at Williamstown Savings Bank, 795 Main St., lower level board room.

Joey Collins an occupational therapist with North Adams Regional Hospital will be the guest speaker. She will be discussing how individuals with Parkinson’s Disease can manage their daily tasks such as self-care, feeding and household activities with less effort and use of adaptive equipment and techniques. She will also share information on fall prevention.
