BENNINGTON - A judge has denied access to two search warrants and related materials sought by the Banner and granted partial access to a third, which he said will be released Friday at 4 p.m.

Bennington Superior Court Judge Cortland T. Corsones issued the order Wednesday following a motion filed last week by an attorney for Thomas Lyons, owner of Bennington Subaru. The search warrants were executed on Jan. 21 at Lyons' home and business.

Mulitple sources have confirmed that the ongoing criminal investigation into Lyons involves an alleged prostitution ring.

Corsones issued his order under seal, meaning his findings and reasoning will not be made public. A general, public order was released with few details.

The search warrant and related materials to be released on Friday will be at least partially redacted.

A full story will appear in Thursday's edition of the Banner.
