WINHALL - Winhall police said two drivers reported suffering minor injuries after a crash Monday on Route 11/30.
According to police, shortly after 8 a.m. Caitlyn Hale, 17, of Manchester, was driving a 2001 Oldsmobile sedan west on Route 11/30 near Vermont Haunts Road when she failed to make a sharp left turn and struck a guardrail. Police said that caused her car to go into the other lane and hit the rear driver side of a 2007 Chevrolet truck driven by Scott Mohlenhoff, 46, of Sunderland. Police said the impact caused both vehicles to hit the guardrail.
Hale and Mohlenhoff suffered minor injuries but were not taken to a hospital. Both vehicles sustained heavy damage. Vermont State Police, Manchester police, Winhall and Manchester fire departments, and Manchester Rescue Squad assisted with the incident.
