Today, this writer heard a report that Senator Harry Reid made in which he repeated a rumor publicly, that Mitt Romney had not submitted a federal tax return for the last 10 years. That Mitt Romney could get away with that for 10 years, without the media or the tax department coming down on him like a ton of bricks, is preposterous.

Aside from my opinion that Harry Reid retired from the boxing ring after he took so many lefts, he was begging for a right, he is clever. He knows that the pro-Obama media will pick up on everything the left wing says and run with it for weeks if necessary while they ignore everything from the rest of the political spectrum that might affect the president adversely.

Helping them will be a seemingly unwitting part of the Republican Party that feels compelled to field every left-wing foul ball they hit, in a game where the Republicans never seem to hit a home run when they get to bat. This writer believes that a big part of the problem lies with influential folks in the Republican Party who think that we must not be beastly to the opposition or it might look like we are in a street fight, and not a wine and cheese party.

So let’s talk about something that the politicians are all silent about. Just punch in Frank Marshall Davis and you will get a wealth of information. For example:

This is the first in a weekly series of exclusive interviews with Dr. Paul Kengor, Cold War historian and professor of political science, who has just released a major book titled "The Communist: Frank Marshall Davis, The Untold Story of Barack Obama’s Mentor," based on never-before-seen declassified material from Soviet archives, FBI files and archived columns from Communist Party publications.

Who is Frank Marshall Davis? The FBl had a file on Davis. Information from Davis’ 601-page FBI file reveals that Davis (born 1905) became interested in the Communist Party as far back as 1931.

Certainly from the mid/late ‘30s to the early ‘40s Davis was involved in several Communist Party fronts including the National Negro Congress, the League of American Writers, the National Federation for Constitutional Liberties and the Civil Rights Congress.

The FBI first began tracking Davis in 1944 when they identified him as member of the Communist Party’s Dorle Miller Club in Chicago. "Frank Marshall Davis was a pro-Soviet, pro-Red China, card-carrying member of Communist Party (CPUSA). His Communist Party card number was 47544."

What connection does he have to President Obama? Read it for yourself and then ask yourself if we don’t deserve some answers before he goes on being our "commander in chief."
