Theft from horse show

DORSET -- State police say they are trying to find who may have taken $5,000 in merchandise from the Beval Saddlery Company, which was taken from the store they had set up at the Dorset Horse Show.

The theft occurred after 5 p.m. July 25 and was discovered by an employee the following morning. The merchandise included mostly shirts, according to state police. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 802-442-5421. Fuel theft from farm

SHAFTSBURY -- State police are investigating the reported theft of diesel fuel from Clearbrook Farms. The theft is believed to have occurred between July 18 and 26. About $500 in fuel was discovered missing from a large tank.
