BRISTOL (AP) -- Two Vermont men are facing charges they stole drugs from a Bristol nursing home after threatening an employee with a tire iron.
Police say that within hours of the Wednesday night robbery at the Living Well Home Care facility 42-year-old Timothy Boardman and 20-year-old Alec Morse, both of Monkton, were in custody.
Bristol Police Chief Kevin Gibbs says that at around 10 p.m. Wednesday, two men wearing ski masks forced the employee back into the facility as she was leaving and demanded drugs. They fled with an assortment of pain medications. WCAX-TV reports the girlfriend of one of the suspects used to work at the facility and the employee recognized him immediately.
There were no injuries.
