NORTH BENNINGTON -- This Saturday, the Leo Yucht Quartet will hold a concert for the public in the basement of North Bennington's Vermont Arts Exchange.
The group will perform all original compositions that combine the classic elements of swing music with a modern twist, and be accompanied by Andrew Lohse, a bass player from Brattleboro, Jay Sager, a Bennington native, and Rutland native, Max O'Rourke on guitar. Yucht will hold court on the drums.
"I am really excited to play at the Vermont Arts Exchange again," said Yucht. "The small space allows for a deep intimacy between the musicians and the audience. I am also thrilled to be playing with 3 of the best musicians in the state. It's special to hear my own creations brought to life by a great group of musicians."
The basement doors will open at 7 p.m. and the concert will begin at 8 p.m.
Tickets are $10 and available on a first-come, first-served basis at the door. Student tickets are also available for $5.
