’Singing Anchors’ return to Fort Salem
SALEM, N.Y. - The Fort Salem Cabaret hosts the return engagement of "The Singing Anchors On Broadway," three of the Albany Capital Region’s top-rated television news anchors Jerry Gretzinger, Jessica Layton and Benita Zahn, at the Fort’s mainstage for two weekends, opening July 13 at 8 p.m.
"The Singing Anchors On Broadway," opens Friday, July 13, at 8 p.m., and runs through July 22, with matinees Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m., and Saturday evening shows at 8 p.m. Tickets start at $30 for adults. For information call 518-854-9200 or visit fortsalemtheater.com.

Twilight on the Tavern Lawn presents Slippery Sneakers
PUTNEY -- Twilight Music continues its tenth annual Twilight On The Tavern Lawn series of folk, world beat, rock, jazz, zydeco, Celtic, swing, blues and bluegrass summer concerts on Friday, July 13 with traditional and contemporary Cajun/zydeco roots music sextet Slippery Sneakers. The seven concert series continues every other Friday through August 24. All concerts begin at 6:30 pm in downtown Putney on the Putney Tavern lawn (bring a lawn chair or blanket) or at Next Stage at 15 Kimball Hill in case of rain.

Hubbard Hall hosts Music from Salem chamber concert
CAMBRIDGE, N.Y. -- On Sunday, July 15 at 2pm Hubbard Hall Projects is pleased to present a Music from Salem chamber music concert, "Great Impressions: Beethoven / Fauré / Mozart".
For anyone who loves the music of Fauré, the virtually unknown second piano quintet will take you deeper into his haunting and sensuous world of harmony. Celebrating Mozart along with the Hubbard Hall Opera Company and Theater Company, Music from Salem will perform one of his greatest string quartets, K 595 in D major. Also on the program is Beethoven’s luscious Piano Trio in E-flat major.

Pikes Falls Chamber Music Festival at Jamaica
JAMAICA -- Jamaica Town Hall will play host to the introduction of Pikes Falls Chamber Music Festival, with events on Aug. 1-3. The Musicians of Pikes Falls include some of the best instrumentalists in the country, including New York City Ballet concertmaster Kurt Nikkanen.
Evening concerts are Wednesday, Aug. 1 and Friday, Aug. 3, starting at 7 p.m., with pre-concert lectures starting at 6 p.m., and post-concert receptions. Events on Thursday, Aug. 2, are a children’s art/music collaboration from noon to 3 p.m., and a community potluck at 6. The potluck will feature Jesse Lepkoff and the Serenata do Bossa performing Bossa Nova music.
Featured works include Pikes Falls composer-in-residence Joe Hallman "The Vermont" for violin, viola, cello, bass, piano, flute, clarinet, and horn.
Admission is free of charge, but donations are welcome. A portion of the donations will be contributed to the Stratton Foundation to benefit Hurricane Irene relief efforts. For information visit pikesfallschambermusicfestival.com.
