WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. Joyce Ann Deutsch and Paul A. Harsch III announced their marriage which took place in Wilmington, Vt, in a private ceremony held on the shores of Whitingham Lake on April 18.
Mrs. Harsch holds her BSN degree from Indiana State University and is currently enrolled as a double major pursuing master's degrees in human resources and as a nurse practitioner. She anticipates working as a nurse practitioner in one of the area's medical centers once her studies are completed in the summer of 2009. Mrs. Harsch is originally from Kentucky and most recently lived in Evansville, Ind., where she was employed for 11 years by GE as the corporate nurse case manager responsible for monitoring the health care of 1,500 employees. Prior to her relocation to the east she worked briefly for TJ Maxx as a corporate nurse.
Mr. Harsch is president of Harsch Associates, one of the region's prominent real estate firms, and has been a licensed real estate Broker and Realtor since 1975. Mr. Harsch's practice of real estate includes consulting on development projects, business brokerage, commercial and residential brokerage and land development
and sales.
Prior to entering the field of real estate, he taught in the elementary grades at Pine Cobble School in Williamstown and at the Gabriel Abbot School in Florida, Mass. Mr. Harsch holds a bachelor's degree from Williams College as well as numerous professional designations including that of Certified Business Intermediary.
The couple resides in Williamstown where they are building a new home to be completed this summer.
Gates engaged to Hunt
BENNINGTON Michael and Carol Gates of Bennington would like to announce the engagement of their daughter Jennifer to Stanley Hunt, son of Carol and Stanley, of Buskirk, N.Y.
Jennifer attended school in Bennington, and she works at NAHENCO in North Bennington.
Stanley works at his home garage rebuilding and remodeling old cars.
A June 7 wedding is to be held at the home of the groom's parents.
Lucier engaged to Latif
NORTH BENNINGTON Mark and Carol Lucier, of North Bennington, announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Ann Lucier, of Manchester, to Bradley David Latif, of Manchester, son of David and Donna Latif of Mocksville, N.C.
The bride-to-be is a graduate from Johnson State College with a bachelor's degree in elementary education.
The groom-to-be is a graduate of Florida Culinary Institute. He is restaurant manager at the Sirloin Saloon, Manchester.
The couple plan a May 16, 2009, wedding.
Toth engaged to McVay
MEDIA, Pa. James and Corinne Toth of Media, Pennsylvania, proudly announce the engagement of their daughter, Samantha C. Toth to Matthew McVay, son of Mr. Kirke McVay and Dr. Therese Dranginis, of Shaftsbury, Vt.
The bride-to-be is a 2007 graduate of Penncrest High School, and is attending Pennsylvania State University.
Her fiance is attending Mount Anthony Union High School, and has been accepted into the United States Naval Academy for the fall of 2008.
A summer 2012 wedding is anticipated.
